While many current positions have the option of working remotely, our offices are available for all employees to work from on a voluntary basis. We have beautiful offices in Seattle, WA, Portland, OR, and Boston, MA to accommodate employees in a hybrid or full-office setting.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
C+C is looking for a highly motivated, outgoing professional to join C+C’s Field Services Team in support of Puget Sound Energy’s Residential Retail Rebate programs in the South Sound area (Kitsap, Thurston and Pierce Counties). The residential program consists of rebates on efficient appliances, water heaters, and smart thermostats at retail. To qualify for this position, you will need strong people skills, the ability to demonstrate an account management approach to partner engagement and knowledge of the retail sales channel(s).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as an extension, on behalf, of our utility partners in retail locations.
- Oversee retailer/manufacturer promotional compliance and point of purchase (POP) product placement in participating locations.
- Conduct field visits at up to 36 locations/locations a week.
- Reliable owned or leased transportation with a clean driving record.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Residence within the region for which job is posted.
- Ensure retail partners are properly educated about PSE’s programs, services, and promotional products so information can accurately be relayed to customers.
- Accurately relay information about PSE’s programs, services and promotional products if the opportunity presents itself while you are in the store.
- Ensure correct pricing of rebated products.
- Deliver formal and informal training to retail staff.
- Work with partners to maximize promotion and sales of PSE’s rebated items.
- Participate in 3-4 planned promotional Saturday events per year and between 6-8 impromptu weekday events.
- Adhere to reporting best practices and timing when reporting on store visitations, trainings, and outreach event results to C+C management using Salesforce.
- Maintain, enhance and document PSE’s relationship with all program participants
- Identify ways to streamline programs, processes and procedures
- Preform in-depth surveys with customers and associates while in-store.
- Maintain a high level of organization to ensure accurate and timely completion of daily reporting tasks, meeting strict deadlines and ensuring data integrity.
- Demonstrate exceptional time management and self-discipline to effectively perform all aspects of the job within required timeframes, including reporting and administrative tasks, while working within a flexible schedule that allows for autonomy and freedom.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proactive self-starter with excellent time management skills and the ability to learn and absorb new information quickly.
- Strong customer service and account management skills.
- Develop virtual training skills to include creating and delivering PowerPoints, managing invitations through Outlook and leading Zoom webinars.
- Comfortable presenting professionally in front of live and virtual audiences.
- Ability to perform outreach to warm and cold leads.
- Ability to communicate technical information to different audiences.
- Must possess the ability to stand and be on your feet for extended periods, walk frequently throughout stores, and safely navigate ladders as needed to complete tasks.
- Minimum of one years’ experience in customer relations, sales, or similar roles.
- Some proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Google Sheets/Docs, Asana, and Salesforce.
- Reliable owned or leased transportation

BONUS EXPERIENCE
- Background specifically in retail sales or with a utility and/or energy services company
- Experience with energy efficiency
COMPENSATION
This is a full-time position with an hourly rate of $26.93 to $30.29 plus bonus. We provide a work from home set-up as needed.
