Your role:

  • Assist in conducting gap analysis on new laws, regulations, or any relevant publications from MAS and relevant regulatory authorities in a timely manner in order to ascertain the next course of action
  • Work and liaise with the relevant stakeholders to develop additional controls as required to comply with changes in regulatory requirements
  • Keep abreast of and monitor for regulatory developments
  • Work with the team and different functions across the business in overseeing compliance with the relevant laws, regulations, internal policies and procedures
  • Assist in the undertaking of periodic thematic compliance monitoring reviews as required, and follow up and escalate if any non-conformity has been discovered
  • Maintain detailed documentation to demonstrate compliance with regulations, internal policies and procedures.
  • Review and update the department’s policies, procedures and manuals
  • Lead employee training sessions on legal and compliance issues
  • Undertake related assignments and assessments
  • Other ad-hoc duties assigned by the management.


About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree holder in any field
  • Advanced understanding and/or experience working in a Cryptocurrency/Blockchain/Fintech/Finance Trading domain preferred
  • At least 3 years of general compliance experience within financial institutions or work experience in regulatory compliance
  • Knowledge of Payment Services Act and other relevant regulatory requirements under MAS for a licensee in Singapore would be an advantage
  • Organisational skills and ability in setting priorities, problem-solving and multi-tasking
  • Flexibility, open-mindedness, and result-oriented individual with a strong performance record
  • Experience and knowledge of cryptocurrencies or wider FinTech services/products would be a plus
  • Pragmatic approach to regulatory compliance and solution-oriented
  • A strong team player who is self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Possess excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication and writing skills
