Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for resolving internal users IT issues. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to workstations (onsite and remote), SaaS applications and vendors, and all IT related needs.
  • Manage internal compliance controls and tools related to IT asset management, endpoint protection, identity management, role-based access control, data-loss prevention and entitlement review.
  • Diligently follow SOC 2 playbooks/protocol related to IT operations and support regular compliance audits.
  • Partner with TradeBlock’s Security Committee to ensure that security controls and processes are always enforced and improved throughout the organization.
  • Collaborate with People team and maintain responsibility as it relates to hardware/equipment for employee onboarding & off-boarding: order, initialize and configure workstations, activate and deactivate accounts as needed, and document and automate these processes on an on-going basis.
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date IT-related documentation.
  • Maintain vendor contracts and relationships.
  • Work with managers and users to identify IT pain points and project needs.
  • Respond to client and auditor requests for information regarding our IT environment and processes.
  • Provide white glove support to growing and distributed population of high-growth Fintech product organization

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field (preferred) or equivalent related work experience.
  • 2+ years experience managing IT functions (start-up / fintech experience a plus).
  • Strong experience troubleshooting Windows and Mac devices, familiarity with Linux is a plus
  • Experience with workstations management tools.
  • Expertise administering SaaS applications, such as Office suites, video communications, internal communications, etc.
  • Experience working in an environment with operational standards and controls. 
  • Experience working in a SOC 2 compliant environment strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with IAM within AWS.
  • Experience with workstation scripting (Bash/Powershell).
  • Collaborative and flexible communication style, with strong team player approach and customer-service focus.
  • Detail-oriented, with an ability to prioritize and work under pressure on time-sensitive tasks.
