Opportunity Overview:

The Clinical Program Manager, Cardiology is a crucial role in our organization. In this role you will support creation, development, and continuous optimization of innovative clinical programs that deliver cost and quality outcomes by leading pilot and launch of clinical programs for new clients.  The role is client-facing, requiring regular facilitation and clear communication around pilot schedule, roles and responsibilities, progress, and results.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Clinical Programs, you will work cross-functionally with Medical Directors, Operations, Product, User Experience, Client Success, Trend Innovation, and Trend Analytics teams in support of our larger clinical strategy. What you will do:

  • Support creation, development, and continuous optimization of innovative clinical programs that deliver cost and quality outcomes
  • Support development of business cases justifying innovation opportunities
  • Lead pilot and launch of clinical programs for new clients
  • Design pilots enabling key learnings and risk mitigations; create, maintain, and enforce a detailed schedule for pilots; designate clear roles and responsibilities among stakeholders; regularly report progress and results to clients
  • Collaborate with Medical Directors to act as clinical subject-matter experts and ensure clinical integrity of pilots and implementations
  • Collaborate with Operations team to ensure pilots and launches are implemented on schedule and on budget
  • Regularly communicate progress and results to internal and external stakeholders
  • Facilitate client meetings by creating agendas and meeting content and maintaining and communicating detailed notes

Your background & requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required (Preferred: MPH, MHA, or other healthcare-focused post-graduate degree)
  • 3+ years health solutions experience in health systems, health plans, top tier consulting or growth stage companies serving health systems or health plans
  • Deep understanding of Inpatient/Outpatient UM; expertise on inpatient acute hospital or outpatient patient flows, provider-payer workflows, and revenue cycle management
  • 2-3 years of experience in Clinical Program piloting and implementation
  • Deep understanding of healthcare data and excellent analytical abilities; comfort with Excel, Tableau, SQL
  • High level of executive presence and proven track record interfacing with external key stakeholders to achieve performance objectives
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including developing effective presentations and communicating expectations / accountability
  • Demonstrated track record of delivery and continuous process improvement
  • Strong leadership capabilities and ability to initiate and maintain cross-team relationships
  • Proficient in using a Mac, Google applications, Jira, and Confluence
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $130,000 annually; as part of a total benefits package which includes health insurance, 401k and bonus. In accordance with state applicable laws, Cohere is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Individual pay decisions are ultimately based on a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and internal alignment.
