Opportunity Overview:

We are looking for an AI commercial solutions leader to amplify Cohere’s value to health plans, providers, and patients. Reporting into the General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring Cohere’s market solutions capitalize on the latest AI advancements and leverage AI to drive real and meaningful value for customers.  As a cross functional leader, you will work externally with customers/prospects and internally with business teams to create a strategic roadmap and help to determine the big AI decisions Cohere needs to make to continue to lead the market in prior auth transformation. You will form industry leading partnerships with AI vendors/players while focusing Cohere’s 20 member strong ML team on the highest value differentiators to build in house. You will serve as the bridge between the business owners and the ML teams to ensure value is realized and that solution marketing reflects our latest advancements.  Ultimately, the work you do will have a direct impact on the growth of the company and our ability to impact more patients at a time in their healthcare journey when they need help most.

What you will do:

  • Own Cohere’s AI strategic roadmap; assess build/buy/partner for capabilities
  • Deeply understand customer / business problems; work with customers and internal teams to understand problems and identify areas where outsized value can be driven from ML solutions
  • Partner with business owners to ensure AI is leveraged to amplify their solutions value
  • Partner with product marketing teams to ensure Cohere’s external messaging reflects the latest and greatest AI capabilities
  • Establish appropriate AI/ML kpis.  Ensure value-delivery of ML teams, measure / track outcomes of capabilities
  • Support in creation of materials for investors / board on AI capabilities, industry position, research pipeline, etc.
  • Deeply understand the incumbents, new entrants, and business dynamics of AI industry, and help Cohere form appropriate business strategies / models to capitalize on momentum

Your Background & Requirements

  • Deep expertise in ML including latest wave of LLMs;  technical background preferred in AI/ML/data science
  • Minimum 5 years of commercially oriented product experience; or experience working with customers to identify problems and provide AI/ML solutions
  • Healthcare experience a plus, but not required
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA and/or background in STEM preferred
  • Passionate about improving the U.S. healthcare system and helping ensure every patient receives the best care possible

The salary range for this position is $150,000- $170,000 annually; as part of a total benefits package which includes health insurance, 401k and bonus. In accordance with state applicable laws, Cohere is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Individual pay decisions are ultimately based on a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and internal alignment.
