Who You Are

We are looking for an Associate Director, Client Partnership with deep Social and Performance Media experience, who will be responsible for overseeing a luxury client within the Retail & Fashion vertical at Code3. Day-to-day you’ll lead an integrated team to develop holistic media strategies to solve client challenges and deliver brilliant results on your accounts. You’ll develop strong rapport with your clients, understanding their business objectives to ensure work is on strategy and on track. This role will also manage a junior team member and have a strong cross-functional focus across internal teams.

*Note: Due to the specific luxury client, this is a hybrid position only available to candidates based in the immediate New York City metropolitan area. While Code3 does not have a physical office in New York City, this role will be required to attend in-person client and vendor meetings in midtown/downtown Manhattan multiple times a week and after-work engagements at least once a week.

What you’ll do:

  • Build and foster collaborative and trusted client relationships, acting as key advisor and partner
  • Demonstrate exceptional strategic thinking by proactively identifying opportunities, crafting innovative and integrated media strategies, and aligning campaigns with client business goals to deliver on holistic brand goals
  • Support and guide the overall strategy & performance on the account and ultimately be responsible for success of the client key metrics
  • Elevate channel strategy across all platforms and identify strategy and activation gaps across agency portfolio of clients
  • Proactively pressure test and challenge media channel status quo and both external and internal briefs
  • Monitor and evaluate the competitive landscape to drive strategic business insights
  • Interpret client needs and feedback into actionable next steps for Code3 team to meet and exceed client expectations
  • Collaborate across departments (Social, Activation, Analytics) to provide holistic client management, strategy and performance insights
  • Collaborate with Finance and Practice managers to assist in hitting profitability goals based on optimal resourcing, SOW and pricing
  • Define what internal teams need in order to be successful in driving outcomes and setting expectations with the client
  • Evaluate and provide input to Activation team members regarding the most effective digital marketing channels based on client goals and target audience behavior
  • Present strategies, reports, and campaign results to clients in a compelling and persuasive manner
  • Identify growth opportunities within your client portfolio through upsells and cross-sells
  • Participate in New Business Development and Cross-Agency Client work
  • Attends in-person client and partner presentations and events

You should have:

  • 5+ years of digital media experience with a strong focus in Social media (GA4 and broader Performance Media is a plus)
  • A proven track record of success with client retention and upsells
  • Excellent senior-level client presentation abilities
  • Experience providing strategic guidance and growth for accounts
  • Experience serving as an escalation point for clients, supporting with fire drills, strategic guidance, and growth
  • Experience in managing a team is a must
  • A self-motivated drive and curiosity to learn
  • Experience with luxury, fashion, and/or beauty brands is a plus

Salary Information: The base salary range for this position is $124,500 - $137,500 and is commensurate with candidate experience and location. The position also offers a bonus based on company and client success.
