The Commerce division of Code3, formally known as the Cleveland-founded company, Marketplace Strategy, was acquired by Code3 in 2018. Marketplace Strategy now operates as the commerce team within Code3. Digital marketing has evolved creating a need for brands to showcase media, creative, and commerce expertise across all major platforms. This progression is largely due to changes in shopping behavior. To help our clients serve the needs of today's consumers, our offering has also evolved to include Amazon-focused campaign support.

This department consists of the following teams:

Client Strategy

The Client Strategy team is responsible for managing the client relationship and strategy. They are both internal and external facing, communicating with both teams on a daily basis. Their goal is to maintain a positive client relationship through communication, setting client expectations, and retention.

Content

The Content team focuses on creating compelling product copy for client brands on Amazon and other online retailers. This includes researching, drafting, writing, revising, and proofreading copy, as well as optimizing existing copy for search engines. They combine keyword strategy, product features and benefits into copy that will help a product to rank higher and convert more often.

Creative

The role of the Creative team involves designing digital imagery, page layouts, and landing pages for online marketplaces utilizing internal and external brand guidelines along with our commerce best practices to educate and entice consumers to purchase products from our client's brands.

Display/ Programmatic

The Ecommerce Display Media/ Programmatic team is focused on a blend of campaign management and reporting, client and platform partner relationships, and cross-team collaboration. They build, launch, and QA display and video campaigns within Amazon’s DSP and emerging retail media platforms with a focus on flawless execution.

Search

The Search Advertising team works closely with client contacts and internal client strategists to understand client goals and develop paid search advertising strategies to meet and exceed their needs. They define a campaign strategy and deliverable plans that meet or exceed client expectations including: keyword research, writing ad copy, budgeting, and forecasting by creating and managing Amazon advertising campaigns through Amazon Advertising Console.

Technical/ SEO

The role of the Technical Specialist is pertinent to the success of our clients and primarily involves search engine optimization (SEO) and user experience-related strategies within Amazon and other online marketplaces to analyze and maintain product pages and catalogs, and improve catalog organization, product search-ability, and conversion rates.
