Our mission is to make life easier for small and medium sized businesses, the backbone of our global economy. 

We do that by working with fintech companies and financial institutions to help them connect into the systems their small business customers use. With this connectivity, our clients are building next generation products to take the friction out of running a small business, from business management software to alternative lending and corporate cards.

Codat is a Series C-funded company, backed by some of the leading investors and most successful tech companies in the world, including J.P. Morgan, Shopify, Plaid, PayPal Ventures, Amex Ventures, Index Ventures and Tiger Global. We have offices in London, New York and Sydney.

What you will be doing

Codat’s mission is to make life easier for small businesses by enabling their systems and services to work together seamlessly. To do this we have built six products (and counting!) that enable developers to build integrated applications powered by Codat. In this role you will be working with the Global Head of Product Strategy to ensure the development of these separate products are aligned towards our mission and complement one another. Where other product development groups will be deep in the details and thinking ahead in terms of months and quarters, you will take a higher-level and longer term perspective utilizing analysis of global industry trends and in-depth customer research to help steer our multiple product roadmaps.

The key responsibilities of this role include

  • In-depth analysis and market research to ascertain the unserved needs and market opportunities that Codat should be pursuing
  • Work with go to market teams on how best to position Codat
  • Work with product development teams to ensure we are building functionality aligned to overall product strategy
  • Carry out in-depth customer research to identify opportunities for long term relationships with our most strategic clients as well as identify new customer segments
  • Lead projects and analyze product trends related to Codat’s overall product strategy to ultimately drive recommendations to the executive team and product development teams
