What You Would Do
You will be responsible for contacting prospective customers and for qualifying opportunities for the Cobalt Pen Testing as a service Solution. Working with our Demand Generation Manager, you will research and build a pipeline, identify target accounts, and help determine the most efficient method of outreach. Excellent phone and email skills, as well as the ability to quickly assess customer opportunities will be critical to your success. You will be responsible for accurately tracking prospect interactions and information in our salesforce. We’re looking for professionals with strong organizational and follow up skills who work well in a team environment. Prior lead generation or sales prospecting experience will enhance your candidacy for this role. At Cobalt we believe in promoting from within - strong performance in this role will lead to upward mobility within the Sales or Marketing organization.
Generate new business opportunities to fuel the sales pipeline
Discover solutions for prospective clients through research, demos, and excellent communication.
Help create and prioritize strategic prospect lists
Achieve monthly quotas of qualified opportunities
Understand and articulate Cobalt while demonstrating solutions to customer’s problems
Work closely with the Demand Generation Manager to produce marketing qualified leads
Track activities and organize all of their outreach
Look for new approaches to creating quality leads
Who You Are
Ability to take constructive coaching, and adapt accordingly
Minimum of 0-2 years of previous prospecting experience
Excellent time management/organizational skills
Highly motivated, driven, and self-starting individual
Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
Salesforce.com experience a plus
Hubspot experience a plus
Positive attitude with the desire to learn
The ability to write succinct, thoughtful, personalized emails along with a polished phone manner
