Job Summary:
Cohen & Steers is a leading global investment manager specializing in real assets and alternative income. The Product Strategy & Development team leads our firm’s efforts to innovate, grow and manage market leading investment products across our global distribution footprint.
Cohen & Steers is seeking a Summer Associate to work closely with members of our team providing data and analytic support on a diverse set of product- related initiatives. They will have the opportunity to work with other departments across the organization, including Investments, Sales, Marketing, Relationship Management, Legal, Compliance, and Operations in support of strategic projects.

Major Responsibilities/Activities:
- Develop an understanding of the firm’s investment strategies, vehicles and distribution channels.
- Analyze investment performance, portfolio construction, competitive positioning and asset flow trends across Cohen & Steers global product line.
- Assist with research and reporting on industry trends and opportunities across public and private markets.
- Respond to inquiries from Management, Sales, and Relationship Management and business partners across the organization.
- Become familiar with industry analytical tools including, but not limited to, Morningstar, eVestment, Bloomberg, Factset, and Preqin.
Minimum Requirements:
- Undergraduate student with expected graduation date in 2026.
- Excellent academic track record; pursuit of a degree in a quantitative field of study (e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance) a plus
- Proficient in functions of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Outstanding problem solving and data analysis skills
- Must be able and willing to work in a team-oriented environment
- Strict attention to detail, quick learner, and enjoys working in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Passion for global financial markets and strong interest in financial services
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to use time effectively and efficiently while attending to a broad range of projects across varying disciplines
