Job Title: Summer Associate, Business Intelligence

Job Summary:

The Investments Administration Department at Cohen & Steers is currently seeking a motivated Summer Associate to join the CRM & Sales Enablement team as a business intelligence summer associate. The Summer Associate will assist in developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards, support data analytics projects, and contribute to business intelligence initiatives across Global Sales, Marketing and Finance. Major Responsibilities/Activities:

  • Collaborate with team members to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Develop, test, and deploy Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends and insights that support business decision-making.
  • Assist in data cleaning, transformation, and modeling processes.
  • Support ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests.

Qualifications: 

  • Undergraduate student with expected graduation date in 2026.
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including experience with data visualization and DAX.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Familiarity with SQL and database management.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Demonstrates inclusive behaviors in support of a culture that values diverse perspectives.

Preferred Skills: 

  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and modeling techniques.
  • Knowledge of process automation techniques.
  • Basic programming skills in languages like Python or R.
  • Exposure to financial reporting and client-facing reports is a plus.
