Account Supervisors help shape and execute strategies for two or more clients (depending on the size of accounts). Account Supervisors oversee account teams or client projects and initiatives, implementing creative strategies for key audiences. Account Supervisors proactively bring forward ideas to advance client accounts, and confidently report metrics to demonstrate outcomes over outputs. Account Supervisors are at a stage in their career where they are developing an industry or communications-area expertise. Account Supervisors play a meaningful role in business development, including helping to draft RFP responses, pitch to future clients in new business presentations, and tap personal networks for potential client opportunities.
- Work with clients and internal teams to develop communications strategies, and then support in executing integrated creative campaigns
- Establish self as a go-to person for regular client needs and serving as a primary point of contact for one or more clients
- Lead client calls, finding opportunities for junior team members to speak and stepping in as needed
- Develop relationships with clients and be confident and competent when communicating with them through various forms of communication (phone calls, zoom calls, in person meetings, emails, etc.)
- Assign responsibilities to internal client teams with clear assignees and deadlines
- Ensure all client deadlines are met, and quality of work is high
- Work closely and respectfully with internal client delivery teams, including content, digital, and design
- Direct multiple client projects at once and be comfortable balancing competing priorities
- Takes visible and vocal role in developing and presenting to clients (training opportunities, board presentations, result reports, etc.)
- Make clear assignments to execute client deliverables; ensure that all team members understand directions and deadlines
- Identify possible challenges with accounts and make recommendations on how to resolve them
- Work with account leads to help ideate and create campaigns and communications programs
- Active participant in the business development process for potential clients

- 3–5 years of political communications experience
- Speaks with clarity, precision, purpose in small and large groups
- Possesses excellent writing and grammar skills, including the ability to write concisely, clearly, and logically
- Knows and uses AP Style; can edit work of junior team members
- Comfortable with basic social media aggregators like Sprout Social, Meltwater, Hootsuite
- Comfortable with Microsoft and Google office products
- Interested and comfortable learning and adopting new tech platforms
- Interested in using practical applications of AI
- Comfortable with digital platforms like Wikipedia, Reddit, Discord, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager and social media platforms
- Experience pitching media
- Finds opportunities to deliver constructive feedback to senior team members
- Seeks and is receptive to constructive feedback
- Deep understanding of digital marketing and how SEO works
- Comfortable with digital marketing and confident in SEO programing, ad-buying, vendor management, and reporting
- Understanding of website fundamentals
The salary range for this position is $78,800 - $111,900.
