Named America’s best boutique agency in 2021 and 2022, CLYDE is seeking rising stars to join our award-winning communications agency as part of our Fellowship Program. We are currently accepting resumes for the July – December 2024 cohort of fellows. CLYDE is an impact agency. Our work deals with exciting national-level issues, including corporate business, tech, education, real estate, financial services, non-profits, and more. The CLYDE Fellowship Program is designed to give recent college graduates hands-on experience in an agency environment and kickstart their career in public relations. Our CLYDE Fellows play a crucial support role on 3 to 5 client accounts, as well as take on content, research, and creative tasks across the agency. In addition, through a professional development curriculum, Fellows gain industry expertise and receive: training in technical skills and industry tools; résumé and cover letter writing workshops and interview coaching; and mentorship from across the organization and at every level.


To apply, you should have:

  • Excellent writing and grammar skills
  • Some understanding of, or experience in, public relations or public affairs 
  • Proven time management and organizational skills
  • An interest in boldly picking up the phone and “pitching” reporters with client stories
  • Basic understanding of digital communications, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn
  • A healthy appetite for news and information, especially related to industry trends, issues, politics, and policy
  • The desire to work with a cross-functional, integrated team to deliver award-winning work
  • A commitment to uphold and defend the highest levels of ethical conduct
  • A desire to work in a fun, fluid, and fast-paced start-up environment
  • Respect for a culturally-diverse team
  • The ability to work 40 hours a week
  • The ability to work from our DC office at least two days a week

The base hourly pay for this position is $17.50.

This position will be based out of the Washington DC office.
