Senior Manager of Ecommerce

The Senior Manager of Ecommerce will play a pivotal role in driving the customer centric, long-term, profitable growth of Club Monaco through strategic positioning and tactical execution of the website. This individual will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of ecommerce operations, including site preparation, promotion setup, site merchandising strategy, inventory coordination, competitive analysis, and reporting on site performance. The ideal candidate is a customer focused self-starter with extensive ecommerce experience, a keen eye for detail, and exceptional leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Content Planning and Execution:

  • Partner with creative team on content planning process with the goal to get delivery of assets in a timely manner for execution onsite. 
  • Manage the on-site content flip process from briefing and on-site messaging strategy.

Visual Merchandising Strategy:

  • Develop and own the visual merchandising strategy to optimize product pages, category pages, navigation, and internal site search.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to enhance the shopping experience through site optimization.

Performance Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze product performance and site merchandising metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Create regular reports on site operations and merchandising success metrics for business team review.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Establish collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams, including Ecommerce, Creative Services, Merchandising, Planning, and Marketing, to optimize the end-to-end product lifecycle on the site.
  • Work closely with the digital Creative team to develop special shop concepts and page layouts (Homepage, Landing Pages, and Shops) to support category initiatives.

Site Maintenance and Optimization:

  • Lead monthly site validations to ensure seamless launches of new products and promotions. 
  • Manage the on-site search results strategy to maximize performance and customer experience.
  • Build and manage all on-site promotions.

SEO Optimization:

  • Partner with digital marketing and SEO agencies to maintain and execute site updates for optimal search engine optimization.

Project Management:

  • Collaborate with Site Experience to develop strategic roadmap projects from conception to user acceptance testing.
  • Partner with the Customer are group to improve site, policy, and systemic issues related to the Ecommerce Experience.

Team Leadership:

  • Build and lead an effective team, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Work successfully with cross-functional partners to achieve business objectives.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in e-commerce, either as a Site Merchandiser or Buyer/Merchandiser.
  • Experience working in Salesforce Commerce Cloud required.
  • Experience working in Shopify preferred but not required.
  • Experience working in GA4 preferred but not required. 
  • Self-starter with superior time management, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and react with appropriate sense of urgency. 
  • Ability to work cross functionally, understanding different needs of the business and managing expectations.
  • Understanding of business impact as it relates to customer journey.
  • Desire and ambition to keep ahead of industry trends and new technologies.
  • Exceptional data-analysis skills and ability to communicate findings effectively in a non-technical manner.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and creative mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Ability to develop and maintain respectful, strong relationships across the organization.

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York, Club Monaco includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. This accounts for the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications.

A reasonable estimate of the current base is $110k to $130k annually.
