We’re hiring a Senior Recruiter and we want to bring someone onboard who loves helping companies grow. Clubhouse is a truly special company with big plans and we need someone who will help us find, identify, interview, close, and onboard great talent. We currently have 36 employees, an HQ based in NYC, and plans to grow to 55 by EOY- with most of our growth concentrated in engineering, product, and design.
Reporting to our Head of People, this role will have an immense impact on the company as we grow.
What you will do:
Hit the ground running! You’ll be expected to start screening candidates by Day 2 or 3
Own end-to-end recruiting for key roles in the business. Your initial focus will likely be on engineering and product roles
Build a pipeline of passive talent through creative sourcing; identify ways to engage passive talent outside of just sending recruiting emails
Work with Clubhouse’s Coordinator to get candidates scheduled and move them quickly through the process
Candidate Experience is key! You’ll help the team come up with creative ways to improve our processes here
Provide insight and guidance to stakeholders; use data to help drive decision-making around roles and compensation guidelines
The People Team is small, and you may be asked to help out with company events and other activities
We're ideally hoping to hire an individual who isn't afraid of ambiguity and changing priorities.
What you need to have:
Prior experience as a Recruiter, working in-house to build teams
Technical Recruiting experience is a nice-to-have; if you don’t have experience with this you’ll need to demonstrate that you can quickly grasp the concepts
Demonstrated experience closing senior candidates
Our preference is for experience working in a startup or other fast-moving environment
Strong technical aptitude is a must. You should be comfortable working with Google Suite, conferencing software, and be able to learn new systems quickly
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Thoughtful and customer-service oriented; you know when to sell and when to consult
Integrity, good judgement, and discretion are absolute musts
