CloudSEK’s Product Suite:
- CloudSEK XVigil constantly maps a customer’s digital assets, identifies threats and enriches them with cyber intelligence, and then provides workflows to manage and remediate all identified threats including takedown support.
- A powerful Attack Surface Monitoring tool that gives visibility and intelligence on customers’ attack surfaces. CloudSEK's BeVigil uses a combination of Mobile, Web, Network and Encryption Scanners to map and protect known and unknown assets.
- CloudSEK’s Contextual AI SVigil identifies software supply chain risks by monitoring Software, Cloud Services, and third-party dependencies.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced SDE - 2 to join our Core Platform Engineering team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the evolution of our cutting-edge cybersecurity platform.

The Core Platform Engineering team builds the backbone of CloudSEK's cybersecurity solution, ensuring every byte of data is protected and every system is fortified against emerging threats. What You'll Do
- Drive the architecture, design, and development of new features and modules, ensuring they adhere to best security practices.
- Implement and enhance the platform features, leveraging a strong understanding of what we do and how to do it better.
- Lead the end-to-end execution of projects, from gathering requirements and defining technical approaches to deployment and monitoring.
- Identify potential risks and design scalable, secure solutions that address core business and product challenges.
- Maintain high standards for code quality, ensure comprehensive testing, and uphold robust documentation practices.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and set best practices for the team in terms of secure code design, performance, and maintainability.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, security analysts, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and align on implementation strategies.
- Serve as a point of contact for addressing technical concerns and providing insights on improving system security and resilience.

The Ideal Candidate
- Atleast 4 years in software development, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software products.
- Experience in TypeScript, NestJS, and both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience working with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
- Extensive hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining complex systems that are distributed in nature.
- Deep expertise in designing scalable and robust applications, with a focus on cybersecurity or related fields being a plus.
- Proven experience working with a team of 3 or more engineers, with a strong emphasis on delivery, ownership, and professional development.
- Ability to manage and deliver on time and within scope, focusing on quality and innovation.
