  • CloudSEK XVigil constantly maps a customer’s digital assets, identifies threats and enriches them with cyber intelligence, and then provides workflows to manage and remediate all identified threats including takedown support.
  • A powerful Attack Surface Monitoring tool that gives visibility and intelligence on customers’ attack surfaces. CloudSEK's BVigil uses a combination of Mobile, Web, Network and Encryption Scanners to map and protect known and unknown assets.
  • CloudSEK’s Contextual AI SVigil identifies software supply chain risks by monitoring Software, Cloud Services, and third-party dependencies.

Job Description

As a Software Development Engineer I/II/III - Frontend at CloudSEK, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing user interfaces for our flagship products. You will work closely with a talented team of engineers, UX/UI designers, and product managers to create intuitive and visually appealing web applications that provide our clients with a seamless experience in managing and understanding their cyber security risks. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our product’s user-facing aspects and shape cybersecurity technology’s future.

Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers, and backend engineers to understand requirements and translate them into elegant, responsive, and user-friendly web interfaces.
  2. Develop new features and enhance existing frontend components of our digital risk assessment and threat intelligence prediction software.
  3. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using modern web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
  4. Optimize web applications for performance, ensuring fast loading times and smooth user interactions.
  5. Implement responsive designs that work seamlessly across different devices and screen sizes.
  6. Collaborate with the backend team to define and consume APIs, ensuring efficient data exchange between the frontend and backend systems.
  7. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and best practices.
  8. Identify and troubleshoot frontend defects, performance bottlenecks, and browser compatibility issues, proposing effective solutions.
  9. Stay updated with the latest front-end technologies, frameworks, and industry trends, applying them to improve the user experience and front-end development processes.
  10. Collaborate with the documentation team to create clear and comprehensive user guides and documentation for front-end components and features.

Requirements

  1. 3+ years of industry experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on building complex web applications.
  2. Proficiency in modern web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  3. Experience with frontend frameworks and libraries like React, React Query, and NextJS.
  4. Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
  5. Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and ability to collaborate effectively with designers.
  6. Familiarity with frontend build tools, package managers, and module bundlers (e.g., Webpack, Npm, or Yarn).
  7. Experience consuming RESTful APIs and working with backend developers to integrate frontend and backend systems.
  8. Solid understanding of software development best practices, version control systems (e.g., Git), and agile development methodologies.
  9. Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering high-quality, user-centric front-end solutions.
