About the Role

Cloudflare is expanding its Sales Operations group and searching for a dynamic, forward thinking Salesforce Developer to join our team. This position will be responsible for designing processes that increase efficiency and scale across our Salesforce platform and beyond. It will be a cross-functional role, supporting core business teams (Sales, Partner, Marketing, Support, Legal, and Finance) to establish and implement best in class application technology and business solutions in Salesforce platform for a rapidly growing organization.

Responsibilities

  • Working directly with internal customers to understand needs, collect requirements, and develop solutions.

  • Shape business requests into usable logic, taking into account current application logic.

  • Develop integration processes using Salesforce Web Services API and third-party integration tools.

  • Utilize SOQL APIs, Apex controllers, Apex Web Services, Apex callouts, and other development tools to develop high quality and scalable application logic.

  • Handle on-going customization and adjustments to SFDC product features. Maintain and enhance workflows and functionality within the system environment and as SFDC integrates with other key operational systems across Cloudflare.

  • Provide support to end users of Salesforce and related systems for escalated issues.

  • Drive testing and validation of Salesforce configuration and development.

  • Apply best practice design patterns and help shape the team.

Requirements

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or related field

  • Self-starter with great curiosity about technology and behavior

  • 3+ years Salesforce development and administration experience

  • Knowledge of APEX, Visualforce, Salesforce Lightening, Salesforce APIs, Data Loader, SOQL, SOSL, and Web Services

  • UI experience with JavaScript, JQuery, HTML5, and CSS3

  • Preferred experience working with Apttus CLM, DocuSign, ZenDesk, Marketo, NetSuite, Tableau or other cloud business applications

  • Active certification required (Salesforce certified platform developer)

  • Prior experience in SaaS or subscription-based companies preferred

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
