Account Executives, Business Development Representatives, Solution Engineers, Customer Success, and Sales Operations - all working together help our customers adopt Cloudflare and create great Internet-enabled experiences.
The sales team at Cloudflare helps customers solve real, technical problems while creating the revenue streams that help the company provide free service to millions in our community.
About the Role
You are dedicated to the post-sales technical success of Cloudflare’s Strategic Enterprise customers. As a managed services engineer, you will drive and manage engagements with the world’s most innovative companies to help them deploy, support and operationalize Cloudflare’s solutions. Your technical expertise in Cloudflare’s global distributed network, familiarity with the customer’s configurations and ability to manage large cross-functional projects will allow you to act as a trusted advisor for your customers alongside Cloudflare’s Customer Success Managers and Solutions Engineers. You’ll manage continual enhancement projects, consultations and ongoing services that drive customer satisfaction and long-term customer success with Cloudflare.
You are passionate about technology and going above-and-beyond for your customers. You are self-driven, naturally curious, and an avid client advocate. You look forward to joining a growing team and to helping define and develop the Managed Services role at Cloudflare.
- Record of success in navigating and driving engagements with large IT organizations
- Significant Technical Consulting,Technical Account Management, or Project Management experience
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and perform effectively under pressure
- Understanding of application, server, and network security and performance concerns
- Understanding of DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP, TLS, and related protocols
- Strong scripting & API experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math or related field
- Travel 15-20%
- Direct experience supporting global enterprise accounts
- MBA or technical graduate degree
- Fluency in additional languages
