Marketing builds awareness by sharing stories about how using Cloudflare can make a positive impact for customers and prospects. This spans stories across all channels of customer communication: our website, blog, emails, social media, events, ads, etc. We respect the inbox (no spammers!) We tell technical stories. And we see and shape the beauty of a networking story.

About the Role:

The Field Marketing & Events Manager will play a key role in bridging the marketing and sales teams in Europe. The right candidate will have the ability to work cross-functionally with demand generation, events, and sales teams with the goal of localizing and amplifying the global campaigns and events to drive demand and leads in Europe.

Responsibilities:

  • Work in cross-functional teams and collaborate closely with global demand generation, events, product marketing and many others in the development, execution and measurement of marketing campaigns
  • Align the regional marketing activities to support the sales goals for leads and opportunities
  • Measure campaign impact through SFDC reporting, evaluate event/campaign ROI, and present on recommendations for improvement
  • Ensure feedback from sales leadership to corporate marketing organizations to drive alignment of regional marketing investment to sales requirements
  • Plan, promote, and host field marketing events (tradeshows, conferences, executive dinners, and webinars) across the region that capture prospects and help move them into customers.
  • Help with overall event strategy and execution for meetups, customer events, developer events, and thought leadership events in addition to the field marketing events.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years proven experience in B2B marketing (enterprise software, SaaS, regional marketing and/or info security experience a plus)
  • Must have experience managing trade shows and conferences
  • Self-motivated, able to work autonomously and communicate with remote management for extended periods of time
  • Strong project management/organizational skills and the ability to successfully manage multiple initiatives at once
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to coordinate across multiple departments
  • Results oriented with experience using qualitative and quantitative metrics with a focus on revenue, conversion, sales and other marketing goals
