About the Department
Channel Account Managers, Account Executives, Business Development Representatives, Solution Engineers, Customer Success, and Sales Operations - all work together to help our customers adopt Cloudflare and create great Internet-enabled experiences. The sales team at Cloudflare helps customers solve real technical problems while creating the revenue streams that help the company provide free services to millions in our community.
The MSP Partner Development Manager - EMEA is responsible to execute plans to accelerate and scale the growth of Cloudflare business with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) & Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs), within the EMEA regions. The MSP Partner Development Manager will drive business development, sales and marketing initiatives, and engage with the partners’ sales organization to drive new revenue opportunities for Cloudflare.
Roles & Responsibilities
•Proactively identify, help acquire and influence key services partners (PS, MSP, MSSP) in EMEA
•Establish a vision and plan to drive go-to-market activities with MSP, MSSP, SP partners in EMEA.
•Identify specific customer segments and industry verticals to approach with a joint value proposition for using Cloudflare product’s portfolio.
•Work with MSP/MSSP and service partners to have Cloudflare designed in to the Service Providers’ existing service catalogues.
•Engage in legal & contract discussions with Service Providers
•Ensure that Cloudflare is the partner’s preferred platform across critical product lines.
•Deliver well qualified end customer opportunities via partners to the field sales force.
•Project management, data warehousing and other analytic tools experience to establish detailed metrics for tracking purposes.
•Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team.
•Orchestrate and coach the partner on top deals and ensure close alignment between the partners sales team, channel account managers, and other relevant teams. Supports the partners' sales leaders on how to overcome obstacles, compete, create deal proposals, etc. Basic Qualifications
•The right person will possess significant Partner management and development experience in the software/technology industry.
•Experience working with/for Managed Service Providers and Services Partners.
•Significant experience recruiting and managing partners in EMEA and major hubs.
•Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross functional audiences.
Strong program management skills with a focus on delivering scalable programs supporting hundreds of customers/partners.
•Strong technical acumen, with a demonstrated track record of driving emerging/disruptive technologies like open source software, virtualization and Software as a Service delivery models.
•Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
•Proven ability to develop account plans for maximum revenue achievement.
