The Path Forward Return to Work program at Cloudflare is a 16 week paid returnship for experienced professionals returning to the workforce after taking time off for caregiving. The program is open to women and men who have at least 5 years of professional experience and have been out of the paid workforce for at least two years to focus on caring for a child or other dependent. About the Department
The Product team at Cloudflare sits at the intersection of software development, design, and business strategy. We shape high-level product goals but also get our hands dirty. We have ultimate responsibility for understanding our client needs, influencing business strategy, feature specification, and working with engineering to develop our software.
Cloudflare customers range from individual consumers to large multinational corporations and they use a wide range of products that help them make their sites and apps faster and more secure.
What you'll do
Returnees @ Cloudflare get to explore and work with some of newest and most innovative advances in security and networking. You will work closely with Software Engineers and designers to discover, invent, and build at the largest scale. You will be exploring challenges in data mining, machine learning, privacy & security, networking, storage and data management, and much more.
PMs at Cloudflare are very technical. You would have a background in engineering, computer science, mathematics or statistics and are looking to explore a role that is very customer and business focused. You enjoy wearing multiple hats and have an entrepreneurial mindset.
Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience
- BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or Statistics, or equivalent work experience; MBA preferred
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills and drive to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Interest in the technology industry
- Excellent project management, interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to drive and implement ideas in a changing environment
- Analytical skills, and ability to solve highly strategic and difficult business problems
- Ability to complete a 16 week program beginning March 4th
