We’re looking for an engineer with a proven track record of automating build processes and providing tooling to development teams to ease product delivery.
The team you will be working in is responsible for making the CloudBees CI releases happen, using CloudBees CI, in a predictable and uneventful way.
Our team aims at being a catalyzer rather than a gatekeeper. For this, we provide and continuously improve automation and tooling so our developers can self serve and we deliver value iteratively to customers in a fast and safe manner. What the role requires
- Automate everything mindset
- Strong communication skills
- Technical skills in the following technologies
- Java, and ideally Groovy
- Container technologies
- Experience using at least one cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure…)
- Linux - shell scripting
- configuration as code approaches
- Experience on release management
- Strongly opinionated, with a true desire to hear others and be ready to change opinion
- Challenging teammates to grow together
- Teamwork focus
What would be nice
- Experience on CI/CD non-related with Jenkins
- Experience writing and providing tooling for development teams
- Vulnerability management / security related experience (what is a CVE, a tool like Anchore, how to integrate/process security issues and their associated urgent unplanned releases, etc.)
- Flexibility. Able to switch gears quickly and frequently.
- Remote work experience
- Technical knowledge: Ansible, AWS or GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Datadog
