Our Why

Cloud Agronomics is unlocking the fundamental blocker in global soil-based carbon capture projects. We have created the world’s first remote Carbon Index that is commercially available for farmlands. By accurately quantifying soil organic carbon (SOC) down to over 30cm depth, we provide annual verification of SOC in farmland to enable soil-based carbon sequestration markets across the globe. Backed by Lightspeed Venture Partners, Sinewave Ventures, and a featured partner of Microsoft’s AI for Earth Initiative, Cloud Agronomics uses recent advances in hyper-spectral imaging technology to change the way the agricultural industry makes decisions. Our breakthrough analytics are helping farmers produce the food we eat more sustainably, and help them contribute to the effort to reverse the effects of climate change.
