About the Opportunity 

This is a project-based opportunity that will run for 6-months from the date of hire for 40 hours per week.

The CGI University Outreach Senior Associate reports to the Managing Director of CGI University and works to support the development and implementation of an effective, engaging, outreach and communications strategy for the CGI University and CGI Fellowship programs. This individual is a do-er who has comfort with ambiguity and can think on their feet. The CGI University and CGI Fellowship models are rapidly changing, growing, and expanding; this individual should be able to change and grow along with the programs.

Core Responsibilities  

Outreach and Admissions 

  • Support the outreach to diverse institutions of entrepreneurship, higher education and youth organizations.
  • Execute the selection and admission of both CGI U students and CGI Fellows, leveraging external application readers.
  • Coordinate and disseminates admissions communications to students
  • Work with the CGI U team to evaluate, review, and summarize CGI University student applications annually
  • In partnership with the Foundation’s Communications and Marketing departments, conceptualize and coordinate CGI University’s overall digital communications strategy
  • Maintain weekly outreach reports and help prepare annual enrollment report, detailing key metrics such as institutional diversity and applicant demographics, to be presented to CGI University leadership team and partners

University Network Engagement 

  • Maintain University Network email and phone correspondence, including communications with applicants, accepted students, and other event participants
  • Track the University Network budget reporting and financial allocation processes to CGI University students

Correspondence and Communications  

  • Monitor all inbound messages in the CGI University general inbox and works collaboratively with CGI University team members to filter and respond to queries
  • Assist in maintaining CGI University’s digital media presence, including the CGI University website, online forms, member sites, social media, and other digital communications platforms
  • Organize CGI University’s digital mass communications through EveryAction, including list management, data-driven insights, as well as drafting and editing email copy
  • Prepare and update external facing materials in coordination with Clinton Foundation marketing and communications teams

Data Management 

  • Facilitate and track data requests and provide historical context related to students, schools, alumni, sponsors, and former speakers within Blackbaud CRM and CGI University Forms Tool
  • Organize, analyze, and clearly communicate data to help inform CGI University processes, enhance outreach efforts, and increase program’s diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts leveraging excel, sheets, or comparable data platforms

Event Logistics  

  • Assist CGI University team in the coordination and production of in-person and virtual events, including managing registration forms, organizing attendee lists, event set-ups, scheduling, and liaising with co-organizers and attendees as needed

Minimum Qualifications  

What we’re looking for: 

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in the field. With experience in strategic external outreach and recruitment, both high touch and digital. 
  • Extensive experience with Excel, data modeling and data management 
  • Knowledge of BBCRM or other relevant relational databases preferred 
  • Demonstrated understanding of the higher education sector 
  • Experience in employing innovative social media tools to drive web traffic and overall recruitment efforts 
  • Strong campus outreach and student activism experience  

Compensation & Benefits 

Our best estimate of the compensation range for this opportunity is $55 - 60K annually, depending on the experience you bring. This role is eligible for overtime pay. This range is based on NYC market rates and may be adjusted if you will be working remotely.  We look forward to discussing our compensation pricing strategy, and your expectations, throughout the interview process.
