About the Opportunity

The Data Coordinator will work with the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) Community Teams to manage all data for the existing portfolio and newly developed and returning commitments. This role involves performing data management tasks (such as ensuring that commitments information is properly tracked, stored, displayed, and maintained in our data systems, inputting data, creating spreadsheets, etc.) and will also require helping prepare materials for internal and external audiences such as proposals, reports, speaker briefing documents, and Foundation principal briefing documents.

The position necessitates the ability to think through problems and identify actionable solutions, as well as quickly identify gaps or problems with quantitative and qualitative data. The Data Coordinator in this role will also be skilled in organizing data, visualizing it, and presenting that data to a variety of learners. The coordinator will also be skilled in teaching incoming hires how to use CGI’s data systems to support their own work, and where that works fits within the larger organizational data framework.

The Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) convenes global and emerging leaders to create and implement solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges. CGI works with partners to drive action through its unique model. Rather than directly implementing projects, CGI facilitates action by helping members connect, collaborate, and develop Commitments to Action — new, specific, and measurable plans that address global challenges.
