About the Opportunity 

The primary purpose of this role is to produce high-profile video and multimedia projects from inception to delivery in support of Clinton Foundation storytelling goals to increase understanding and awareness of Foundation programs and President Clintons lifetime of public service. This person reports into the Deputy Director of Marketing and Digital, and partners with the Marketing and Communications department, programmatic, principal, and Development teams to support all aspects of video and multimedia production needs.

The Clinton Foundation Marketing and Communications team is responsible for developing external communications, campaigns, and creative content in service of advancing the work of the Clinton Foundation and understanding of President Clinton’s lifetime of public service. This team of communicators is comprised of writers, marketers, producers, media specialists, content and digital strategists, metrics and data analysts, and creative professionals.

Core Responsibilities  

Video and Multimedia Production: Produce high-profile video, podcast, and multimedia projects from inception to delivery. Includes but not limited to:  

  • Pre-production support - Scheduling, coordinate creative brief and requirements, coordinate shot lists, timelines, and budgets, sourcing and organizing external media, script and talent coordination (e.g.: including project management of drafts and revisions; outreach to talent and scheduling).  
  • Production support - Moving, buildout, maintenance, and operation of production equipment (e.g.: video & still cameras, mics, lighting, sets). Loading of correct scripts, and operation of teleprompters – monitoring for lines missed and any pick-ups needed among talent.  
  • Post-Production Support - Ingesting and archiving multimedia, editing video, audio, and photo projects as directed, delivering to stakeholders for review, edits, and distribution.

Support the Marketing & Digital team on various administrative, operational tasks: 

  • Maintaining steady upkeep and organization of photo and video archives; metadata tagging, sourcing media, curating collections. 
  • Regular monitoring and reporting on video performance data, trends, and industry developments.  
  • Support department with tasks as needed, including but not limited to maintaining the video studio, scheduling, invoicing, shipping, printing, etc. 

Minimum Qualifications  

What we’re looking for: 

  • Focused post-high school study in visual media and production required
  • Bachelor’s degree, focus in film / TV / video production, photography, visual arts, or related field preferred
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in the field in positions of increasing responsibility required 
  • Experience in fast-paced production house, agency, media org., NGO, or similar organization preferred
  • Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects, Bridge. 
  • Experience creating multimedia content, shooting & editing videos, photography, photo editing, with a strong sense of composition and storytelling. 
  • Understanding industry best practices for DAM (digital asset management) systems and multimedia archiving. 
  • Demonstrate strong photographic/visual skills to ensure all content meets standards for institutional and production quality. 
  • The position affects the public image and reputation of the Foundation and management. They must be highly organized, thorough, accurate; and display good judgment to ensure the best possible representation of the Foundation publicly.
  • Ability to work in a varying schedule including nights, early mornings, weekends and holidays. 
  • Ability to work independently as an organized, detail-oriented, self-starter, while also working in a collaborative team environment.  
  • Exercises good judgement when handling sensitive material and ability to listen, accept, and incorporate feedback with improved solutions.

Compensation & Benefits 

Our best estimate of the compensation range for this opportunity is $70-75K annually, depending on the experience you bring. This role is eligible for overtime pay.
