ClickUp is looking for a motivated Data Analyst with expertise in problem solving and data visualization to join our high-performing Data team in the Growth organization. We are building a world class Growth organization at ClickUp with the goal to make a significant impact on the company's already rapid global growth.
About the Team & Role
The Data team at ClickUp is made up of data analysts, engineers, and scientists that are strategic business partners inside of the larger Growth organization. You will collaborate with the data team members to answer complex business problems.
As a Senior Data Analyst for the Growth Organization, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining key performance indicator (KPI) dashboards, conducting deep-dive analyses on critical business metrics, and providing actionable insights to leadership. Your expertise in data analysis, combined with a strong understanding of business operations, will empower us to optimize spending, improve sales performance, and achieve our revenue targets.
This position offers a unique opportunity to directly impact the company's strategic direction and work closely with cross-functional teams.
Domain Knowledge:

B2B SaaS: A strong understanding of the B2B SaaS business model, including customer lifecycle, subscription revenue, and key metrics. Familiarity with self-service motions and related data analysis.

Financial Metrics: Deep understanding of financial metrics relevant to SaaS businesses, such as ARR, Churn Rate, Customer Lifetime Value (LTV), Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), and unit economics.

Growth Metrics: Expertise in analyzing growth metrics, including lead generation, conversion rates, sales pipeline management, and marketing campaign effectiveness. Ability to identify drivers of growth and provide data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Key Responsibilities:

KPI Reporting & Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators related to spend ROI, Net Dollar Retention (NDR), Gross Dollar Retention (GDR), and other critical business metrics.

Deep Dive Analysis: Conduct in-depth analyses to identify trends, patterns, and root causes of performance fluctuations in key areas like spend effectiveness, customer churn, and sales productivity. This includes exploring data from various sources and using statistical methods to provide actionable insights.

Data-Driven Recommendations: Translate complex data analysis into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations for leadership and other stakeholders. Present findings in a compelling manner through presentations and reports.

Collaboration & Communication: Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations, to understand their data needs and provide analytical support. Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Data Quality & Integrity: Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing data quality checks and validation processes. Identify and resolve data discrepancies.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate and improve existing reporting and analysis processes. Contribute to the development of data infrastructure and tools.
Requirements

Bachelor’s (or Master’s) degree in a technical field such as Business Analytics, Engineering, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, or equivalent experience.

5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst (or similar profession).

Exceptional experience in SQL.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Desirable
- Proficiency in Tableau or other BI tools.

Project management skills.

Basic understanding of Python.

Basic understanding of DBT and Git.
