We’re in search of a Sales Manager who will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight of sales processes and performance for our sales team in AMER. You will work directly with sales leadership as a front-line problem solver and you’ll work hands-on to evolve a sales system based around product and demos into something rock solid that scales. You will be expected to analyze sales metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to drive sales growth and efficiency. Your role will also involve ensuring that the sales team adheres to company policies and procedures, and you will be responsible for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

You shouldn’t be afraid of jumping in sales reps’ demos and asserting yourself. We’re looking for a player-coach who remembers the hustle. As a Sales Manager, you will help make sales hires, set goals, and motivate and develop sales reps. Additionally, you will work closely with senior leaders across Growth, Marketing, Operations, and Product. At ClickUp, our teams are tightly connected, and if you need something developed in order to win a meaningful account, we can and will allocate resources to get it released within two weeks.

We are not interested in aggressive or annoying sales tactics. Our secret sauce is helping people see the value of the solution we provide and stepping in to assist product-led growth.

The Role:
  • Manage a pod of at least 5 account executives and serve as a player-coach on calls to train new reps.
  • Help established reps to constantly improve and motivate all charges to go above and beyond for customers.
  • Help to scale the sales strategy for the AMER region.
  • Construct a fun, high-energy environment where reps love coming to work and feel as if they’re being developed towards their fullest potential.
  • Prioritize customer experience over making the sale, lead by example yourself as a manager, and monitor adherence to sales policies and practices across your reports.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop lead generation strategies and campaigns.
  • Analyze sales data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present sales reports to senior management.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the sales team remains competitive.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of full-cycle sales experience in SaaS and 2+ years of sales management experience.
  • Very strong understanding of selling into SMB and Commercial segments (25-2000 FTE company size)
  • A sustained need to win and the ability to motivate a team of high-performing reps.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
