We are seeking an experienced SEO team member to play a crucial role in our best-in-class approach to organic growth in one of the most competitive software markets. Essential duties in this role include conducting in-depth keyword research, implementing optimization tactics across our content library, and monitoring performance of our efforts. The role demands being comfortable supporting aggressive content objectives and a passion for staying on top of evolving SEO best practices and the emerging AI landscape.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor performance of existing content to identify underperforming articles, enhancement opportunities, and prioritize accordingly.
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research to expand on our content library and identify new topic areas to compete in.
- In-depth optimization work such as internal linking, keyword enrichment, adding assets, updating outdated content, and identifying information gaps.
- Assist programmatic content strategies with research and quality assurance checks.
- Conduct assessments on our positioning in emerging AI tools such as Google's SGE, Chatgpt, and Perplexity
- Suggest innovative SEO techniques and propose experimental elements to enhance content visibility and distinction.
- Learn our product inside-out and become a subject matter expert.
What you’ll need
- 4+ years of experience in a SEO role working with long-form content strategies
- Contemporary experience with B2B SaaS models and their connection to effective SEO growth strategies.
- Experience working with large lists of keywords and understanding of the SERPs at a macro level.
- Passion for staying current in the constantly changing environment of SEO and content marketing.
- Editorial eye and understanding of big picture tradeoffs between AI-generated and bespoke content.
- Proficiency with Wordpress
- Creative and solutions-oriented thinking, combined with a proactive and results-driven attitude.
- Knowledge of AI functionality and potential use cases for content and SEO.
- Excellent communication, project management, and collaboration skills
