ClickUp is seeking a leader in content that has strengths in developing comprehensive, end-to-end content strategies that convert. This individual has a strong and balanced understanding of lead generation, performance metrics, and storytelling through omni-channel experiences.
 
In this role, you will own:
  • Content strategy (who, why, what - bonus: able to wrap in brand building)
  • Content production (execution, process, quality)
  • Content delivery (where, why, what - bonus: able to generate viral pieces)
The ideal Director of Content Marketing understands the importance of driving a POV and has prior experience in working with Growth Marketing and Creative teams to bring brand positioning to life through customer-facing messaging.
 
You are an out-of-the-box problem-solver, have a distribution-oriented mindset, and are a storyteller who loves your craft and makes impactful decisions rooted in data.

The Role:
  • Oversee editorial content strategy, including development, execution and evolution of key concepts and storylines across marketing channels and on-site
  • Raise the standard of content being produced. Think customer first and channel second.
  • Manage the editorial calendar for customer-facing content, and be responsible for integrated campaigns around key corporate and user moments.
  • Partner with Growth and Creative teams to drive initiatives and ensure alignment on strategies. Build always on content, A/B test, and improve all major touchpoints in the lifecycle.
  • Hands-on writing to generate deliverables like white papers, web content, email copy, long-form content, social, etc. Support both the self serve and sales assist arms of the business.
  • Manage a team of content and writing professionals and ensure their success while supporting their career growth.
  • Identify emerging consumer personas and cater targeting efforts accordingly.
  • Stay on top of market and competitor trends and tactics, including messaging, calendars, competitive landscape, etc.
  • Establish the topics we should cover, the formats we should produce, and the distribution channels we should focus on.
  • Build and optimize internal processes for the Content team that can scale in hypergrowth.
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years in a direct Content leadership role building and owning Content strategies end to end.
  • 5+ years proven expertise managing a team with strong leadership philosophies.
  • Strong understanding of the tech or SaaS landscape and knowledge of consumer market.
  • Strong writing and story telling abilities.
  • Admiration for detail and grammar.
  • Expertise in omni channel content formats, especially web, email and social
  • Experience using and collaborating on PM softwares and a passion for productivity.
  • Ability to function in a fast-pace environments and consistently produce results on time that are driven by performance and supported with data.

Salary Range: $200,000- $240,000
