What you’ll be doing:

Own and drive your role in the Pepper Joe’s business through proper care and production in the Greenhouse.
- Manage greenhouse cleanliness & sanitation
- Take ownership of seed germination testing
- Lead pepper de-seeding, harvesting, and assist with shipping & order coordination
- Coordinate with the team to assist with pepper plant care (planting, medium prep, pruning, fertilizer mixing, etc.)
- Assist with equipment maintenance
- Advocate & adhere to greenhouse PPE policy
- Seek continuous improvement & alignment with greenhouse goals

What we value in this role:

Greenhouse production certificate, degree in Plant Science, Horticulture or related professional experience is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Confident in the utilization of math throughout daily work
Excellent planning skills and experience specific to greenhouse cycling
Ability to record, organize and manage your workload
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
Highly organized
OSHA 10 or OSHA 3
Lean 5S
