In the next 12 months you will be converting photoshop designs into WordPress and Shopify websites, fixing broken websites, improving existing sites, building custom WordPress and Shopify themes, maintaining sites and anything else you can think of with “website” in the name of the task.

THE FOCUS OF THE ROLE IS:
The WordPress “go to” person.
Creative Problem Solver: It’s a must - work closely with all departments to contribute to brand, marketing, IT, and overall business strategy discussions
Training Ninja: Share what you know and learn to others. We have lots of WordPress users, you would be their sensei.
Existing Site Enhancer: As described above and may be considered the most boring work. We need some improvements to current sites and want your expertise.
Experience in WordPress design and development (HTML, PHP, CSS, WordPress)
Photoshop, Illustrator and the like – from the designer/developer perspective.
Understanding of the Internet and E-Commerce
Outstanding communication skills and the ability to work in a dynamic team environment
A desire for challenging work and a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment
Experience with the LAMP stack
Experience with Internet retailing, search engine optimization (SEO) and design for usability
