Join our team as a Software Engineer extraordinaire, where you'll work on exciting projects, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and make a global impact. What you'll do here:

  • Identify and analyze user and application requirements, both functional and non-functional 
  • Prioritize, assign, and execute tasks throughout the software development life cycle 
  • Work with multiple stakeholders in requirements gathering and technical feasibility tasks 
  • Develop and maintain Java backend applications of varying complexity 
  • Review, test, and debug team members' code
  • Write and update documentation as appropriate
  • Write and update unit tests
  • Ensure our applications are secure and up to date
  • Participate in Scrum team activities/ceremonies
  • Provide application support in production environment by troubleshooting tickets assigned to the team
  • Ability to communicate effectively with other departments in English and Spanish (C1 English efficiency)

What you have:

  • At least 6 years of work experience as a Java Software Engineer or similar role 
  • Experience designing, building, and testing Java backend applications and microservices 
  • In-depth knowledge of popular Java frameworks like Spring Boot
  • Experience with Object-Oriented Design (OOD)
  • Delegation and time management skills
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Experience working with SQL and database evolution in development and production environments
  • Experience using version control tools and workflows (Git, Gitflow)
  • Excellent English communication skills (B2+ minimum) 

What will make you stand out:

  • Experience developing custom features in Salesforce (Apex code) 
  • Experience with AWS cloud and implementations from a developer’s perspective
  • Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines
  • Previous experience with HTML/JavaScript/CSS is a plus
  • Previous experience working with Angular is a plus
