We are a dynamic and growing company, seeking a highly motivated Sr Accounts Receivables Analyst to join our Finance team. The team is responsible for delivering a wide breadth of services to ensure the business is operating efficiently and effectively.  As a Sr Accounts Receivables Analyst, you will play a vital role in overseeing accounts receivable activities, ensuring accurate billing, timely collections, and proper financial reporting, while also leading and improving related processes.

 

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Managing and Reconciling Accounts Receivables:
    This includes maintaining accurate records of customer accounts, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, and reconciling related GL accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of records.
  • Marketplace Accounts Receivables:
    Ensuring accurate accounting records and up-to-date customer account statuses  related to sales conducted by third parties, including AWS, GCP, and Azure.
  • Overseeing Billing and Collections:
    Ensuring the billing process is efficient and accurate, and takes a lead in efforts to collect outstanding payments from customers. 
  • Analysis and Reporting:
    Analyzing accounts receivable data to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for improvement.  This role is the primary “point person” for all billing and collections questions for the sales team and other internal stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement:
    Work in tandem with the billing engineering team, sales operations, and finance leadership to identify and implement process improvements to streamline the accounts receivable function, reduce errors, and improve efficiency. 
  • Audit Support
    Assist with internal and external financial statement audits, providing support as needed related to the Accounts Receivable function.

What You Bring Along:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
  • Proven experience (3-5 years) working in finance or accounting, preferably at a Cloud software company
  • Preference for candidates who have experience in accounts receivables recording and processing for third party marketplace sellers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems (e.g., Netsuite, Salesforce, Stripe) preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

$100,000 - $117,500 USD

Washington State - Full Salary Range

$74,800 - $134,725 USD

General US Remote Salary Range

$80,000 - $100,000 USD

Los Angeles, CA / Washington, DC - Salary Range

$90,000 - $105,750 USD

Seattle, WA - Full Salary Range

$90,000 - $105,750 USD

Compensation

This role offers cash compensation and a stock options grant. For roles based in the United States, you can find above our typical starting salary ranges for this role, depending on your specific location.
