Purpose 
The purpose of this role is two-fold.  Firstly, fulfil the role of a Sales Operations Analyst, taking direction from the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer. The role requires that this resource provides key support and contribution that will promote optimisation, maturation and augmentation of the end-to-end Sales Cadence framework, processes, and tools to deliver against core objectives as aligned to Clickatell’s Strategic Imperatives.  Secondly, the role requires that this resource establish themselves as the Clickatell Salesforce Champion. Salesforce has been implemented as the Sales Organisation’s business critical CRM tool of choice, and this resource will be required to continuously and incrementally optimise and improve the value and ROI that Salesforce provides to Clickatell, in collaboration with key internal stakeholders and external 3rd parties.

Responsibilities of the Role
Sales Operations, Support, Analytics, Intelligence and Reporting
o    Support the Sales Operations Director by providing analytics support and transforming data into insights, that will promote and facilitate successful execution for the following key responsibilities:
o    Drive continuous development & maturation of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operational Planning and Modelling competencies within Clickatell
o    Analyse & monitor key performance indicators, highlighting trends and establish causes of unexpected variance against plan or budget 
o    Utilise, implement, expand, evolve, and mature BI & CRM tools, dashboard, reports & insightful analytics.   
o    Support management team with preparation of operating plans (budgets), forecasts, behavioural & scenario models as well as any additional ad hoc reporting & analytic support.
o    Assist and resolve general billing and reconciliation queries, facilitate the refund approval process
o    Ensure procedures, governance and internal controls are kept under continuous review / improvement and are appropriate to the activities.
o    Leverage various information sources from across the organization to priorities the transformation of data into insights, and insights into recommendations for agile, data-based decision making
o    Deliver insightful analyses and visualization of priority metrics for Top/Key Customers contributing significantly to Clickatell’s revenue attainment
o    Establish and improve cross-functional engagement and collaboration with key focal points across other Lines of Business

Salesforce
o    Own the end-to-end Salesforce tooling, framework, processes and improvement plan – to consistently and continuously improve ROI, and the inherent value of Salesforce inside Clickatell
o    Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to understand how Salesforce can address key requirements and provide reporting against such requirements and KPI’s.
o    Own the commercial engagements and reconciliation of Salesforce costs – inclusive of licenses, and consultancy expenses.
o    Continually train, upskill and certify through Salesforce Trailhead – to establish yourself as the Subject Matter Expert for Salesforce inside Clickatell.
o    Research, investigate and solicit recommendations as a means to regularly establish industry leading Salesforce best practices for Clickatell, taking into account the nature of our business, industry and portfolio of products and services.
o    Investigate and identify potential gaps and/or areas of improvement that can be addressed through additional reporting, dashboarding and data visualisation - either directly within Salesforce, and/or through complementary tools.
o    Dream Big – be creative and proactive in using Salesforce to turn data into insights, promoting agile data-based decision making.
o    Create and establish training and enablement programmes for Salesforce and CPQ users to drive adoption, and in so doing improve value and ROI for Clickatell.

Requirements of the Role
Degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce,
Work Experience
o    4+ years’ experience in a similar position. 
o    NAV, IBM Cognos Xcelerator client, PowerBI, Tract software experience would be beneficial. 
o    Experience in BI tools would be beneficial. 
Knowledge and Abilities
o    Advanced MS Excel skills (macro level) essential. 
o    Accounting knowledge combined with advanced analytical skills. 
o    Comprehensive Familiarity of Salesforce or similar CRM Platforms. 
o    Proactive, creative and courageous self-starter, that takes initiative and identified challenges and possible solutions to address these challenges.
o    Identifies various avenues that will grow and improve knowledge, skill sets, and competencies to establish oneself as the Salesforce Champion.
o    Logical, systematic with strong focus on accuracy and excellent attention to detail with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
o    Ability to work with and manipulate large complex datasets, applying structure, reasoning & sound business principles. 
o    Strong written and verbal communication. 
o    Creative problem solver with ability to think outside the box 
o    Strong interpersonal skills & ability to build interdepartmental and external partnerships
o    Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills essential
