We’re looking for a Creative Copywriter to join our industry leading Performance Marketing squad.  This is both a conceptual and an executional role, working alongside a designer, creative director and performance manager to come up with new ideas and build upon previous winners.

This is a great opportunity to work on a brand with a fun tone of voice and grow into a more senior role

What you’ll be doing

We're not boring. Which is easy to be when you're talking about money. So we’re looking for a copywriter who’s got comedy skills and a strong TikTok game to help us on paid social. 

As a team, we only have one mission – to do work we love. That’s it. If we’re not proud of what we’re making, we start over and try again. Simple, but not easy. 


  • Creating ads for social media that help people understand how Cleo can help them with their financial health
  • Delivering new concepts each week that push boundaries and our TOV
  • Staying switched on to wider cultural, design, and technology trends
  • Giving and receiving feedback through copy critiques and creative reviews. 
  • Connecting with writers from across the business to share learnings and keep our voice consistent
  • Playing against yourself to be more creative, more effective each week

What we’re looking for

  • You’ve got 2+ years of experience as a copywriter with some performance marketing experience. 
  • You know how to write comedy and drive conversions.
  • You’re into TikTok. You’ve got your own page and you despise brands who do it badly.
  • You’ve got a portfolio that shows the above. 
  • A doer, you are happy to get stuck in and do what it takes to fulfil our mission
  • Strong knowledge of social media, paid advertising, and the requirements of each channel
  • You’ve got a portfolio that shows the above.
