We are looking for a dynamic, driven Sales leader to establish and play a critical role in growing Clearwaters’ presence for the Asia Pacific regions. The Sales Director is a quota-carrying team member who is responsible for the acquisition of new clients with the goal of assisting Clearwater to become the world’s most trusted technology platform for automated investment accounting and reporting.
You will have deep domain knowledge of the addressable markets and create and maintain relationships with prospects, clients, and other influencers while teaching prospects how to buy Clearwater and solving complex problems throughout the sales cycle.
Strong understanding of capital markets technology products and the B2B client ecosystem in APAC
Develop the GoTo Market strategy for the Asia Pacific territory
Deliver on revenue targets through client P&L management
Understand prospective clients’ current infrastructure, business requirements and subsequent challenges
Successfully leads complete demos on module/report/asset class requested
Represent Clearwater at relevant industry events and conference
Works with CEO and COO to set sales strategy for assigned teams and markets
Generate pipeline to meet and/or exceed quota
Active participant in the deal sheets process and ensures accurate and thorough completion.
10+ years’ experience in business development, or strategic partner management for the Financial Services or Financial Technology space with a preference to a background in SaaS
Experience working closely with the board and leadership team to shape company and regional strategy
Proven record of exceeding goals/quotas
Has successfully opened and grown new geographic territories
Ability to gain access and interact with C-level executives
Superior interpersonal and presentation skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently but within a team environment
Willingness to travel
Desired Experience and Skills
Masters degree in business administration, finance or accounting
General understanding of investments and/or GAAP and Statutory accounting
