The Business Development Representative (BDR) learns sales best practices and how to use company tools (Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Navigator, Vidyard) to successfully source new meetings. The BDR sells Clearwater’s products, systems and/or services via telephone or electronic means to clients in an assigned territory, industry, or assigned accounts. BDRs may generate prospective customers through cold-calling and may qualify and follow-up with sales leads. Sales can be made through multichannel, inbound, and/or outbound sales activities. This requires application of in-depth technical knowledge of products, systems, and services (may include contract documentation).
Build new business opportunities to help grow revenue
Facilitate evaluation process through consistent and tailored communication
Introductory cold calls, emails, videos, etc.
Research and package prospect data
Understand prospects’ challenges and present custom solutions
Assisting with critical research and preparation for sales visits
Assist in the successful completion, organization and delegation for prospect RFPs
Relationship building and management

Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
Desired Experience and Skills
Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance or accounting or economics
Experience with Salesforce; or CRM database
