  • Perform financial and operational internal audits of Clearwater
  • Perform internal SOC 1 audits of Clearwater and recurring internal control testing
  • Assist with Clearwater’s external SOC I audit process
  • Assist with Clearwater’s client external audit processes
  • Evaluate IT infrastructure and processes
  • Recommend effective controls to respond to identified risks
  • Maintain audit documentation and programs to ensure identified risks are addressed
  • Communicate testing results and process recommendations regularly to senior management
  • Assist with Clearwater’s enterprise risk assessment process and expand the role of internal audit within the organisation


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or other related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience in a financial statement or IT audit capacity for publicly traded companies; or equivalent corporate internal audit/SOX experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft programs
  • High degree of accuracy, timeliness and confidentiality
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel user (or desire to learn)

Desired Experience and Skills

  • Chartered Accountant
  • 5 years of Big Four accounting experience
  • SQL and database query experience (or desire to learn)
  • Experience researching and interpreting accounting standards and codification
  • Securities or financial markets knowledge (or desire to learn)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel experience
