Position Details

An effective talent enablement program is critical to effectively deliver against Clearwater’s aggressive growth and transformation goals.  Clearwater’s Head of Talent Enablement will drive all aspects related to talent strategy and enablement.  The Head of Talent Enablement will lead how Clearwater employees and leaders are onboarded, evaluated, trained, incentivized, and provided career opportunities.  Clearwater is an exciting place to be right now – we are growing and expanding globally.  We need talent programs that will successfully onboard, develop, promote, and retain our talent. The ideal candidate is someone who is able to shape the design and drive the delivery of our strategic talent programs.  We are looking for a senior level individual with a proven track record in fast-growing technology companies.  To be successful, you must be analytical, data-driven, output-driven, pragmatic, hands-on, able to influence and guide both employees and leaders, and is excited to work at Clearwater.  This role will report to the Chief HR Officer who is also Clearwater’s Chief Transformation Officer.

 

Responsibilities

  • Working with the business leaders, develop and oversee an onboarding program that effectively, quickly, and consistently ramps-up new hires as well as employees into new roles
  • Lead the design, execution, and continuous improvement of Clearwater’s performance management program, including employee development, career paths, promotion process, and succession planning
  • Identify opportunities to improve the productivity and engagement of Clearwater’s workforce through defined metrics, reporting, and engagement models with the business
  • Lead the design and execution of Clearwater’s compensation strategy and planning processes for employees, including the management of Clearwater’s job architecture
  • Identify, develop, and execute training programs that address goals that are company-wide, (e.g., first time manager training), department-wide, and role specific
  • Drive organizational effectiveness and employee engagement through targeted programs informed by data (e.g., exit interviews, employee satisfaction surveys) and in partnership with the business leaders
  • Oversee the execution of Clearwater’s annual HR calendar, including alignment with other key company dates or events like strategic planning, budgeting, Board meetings, etc.
  • Identify, procure, and manage leading third-party vendors and platforms to deliver best in class talent programs
  • Make recommendations and support programs aimed at reinforcing our great Clearwater culture

 

Requirements

  • 8+ years in human resources with hands-on experience in leadership roles across organizational effectiveness, performance management, compensation strategy/planning, job architecture, and training/development
  • Experience working within a technology organization; preferably SaaS environment
  • Experience working in global companies and within a global team
  • Working knowledge of leading talent frameworks and practices to provide solutions that are best fit Clearwater
  • Experience developing and executing global onboarding programs across diverse roles, functions, and levels in a high growth company
  • Experience developing, prioritizing, and executing successful training programs
  • Data-driven with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Forward thinking, patient and flexible; must be comfortable with change and scalability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all types of forums from senior management presentations to communication and training materials
  • Able to manage expectations, motivate, engage, and influence others through content and presentation
  • Desire to take initiative; thrives on change and is comfortable with ambiguity
  • Leadership across cross-functional teams with the ability to manage people, projects and tasks effectively
  • Strong project management and organization skills

 

Desired Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or master’s degree in a related field preferred
  • 3+ years in management consulting driving organizational redesigns or transformations is preferred
