Job Description:
ClearStory Data is changing the way people explore and analyze data from disparate sources to gain new insights from big data.We are growing very rapidly and now have a ground floor opportunity for a Marketing Communications and Operations Manager in our Menlo Park office.  Now is the time to join us and become a key part of our world-class team backed by investors from several premiere venture capital firms.

The Opportunity:

  • Help drive the ClearStory Data brand implementation ensuring that our identity is presented consistently in all communication channels (print, digital, video, automation), by interfacing with strategic and product marketing executives, the sales organization and external partners
  • Help implement marketing automation programs to compliment product marketing and our direct sales campaign efforts
  • Work closely with our partners, customers and internal teams to coordinate event planning (including customer advisory board meetings and key internal/external events) to ensure successful and professional execution
  • Project manage collateral production (sales and marketing collateral customer reference materials), video production and key presentation materials; working closely with key services partners
  • Co-manage the company web site and social media sites with timely and dynamic content
  • Work cross departmentally to provide high levels of internal and external customer service

Your Qualifications:

  • Mid to senior level experience in a Marketing Communications related role within fast paced startup environments required
  • Track record of successfully supporting internal and external customer groups
  • Demonstrated successful project management and delegation skills within defined timelines, budgets and geographies; including vendor management expertise across creative firms, production firms and event coordinators
  • Previous working knowledge of Salesforce and Marketo or other related marketing automation tools, and related campaign implementation experiences
  • A portfolio of successful event planning accomplishments
  • Previous print collateral and video production experience with superior samples of work and supporting vendor references
  • Previous web site and social media management experience, including WordPress, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram preferred
  • Precise time management skills and an ability to thrive across concurrent projects with ever changing priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communications, keen attention to detail and a strong customer service/team player orientation
  • MS Office, Google Apps required. Adobe CS, Quark Express or other related tools preferred
  • Able to travel up to 25% of the time
