In the food service industry, it’s difficult to find schedules that allow you to get home at a reasonable hour each night. At Civitas, we understand that our employees have personal lives to attend to, which is why our Servers are off the clock by no later than 8PM!  

Server Job Duties

  • Serve food and meals in accordance with planned menus and established portion control procedures
  • Adjust food preparation on short notice to accommodate unexpected food delivery problems, dietary needs, or guests
  • Assist in ensuring proper storage of raw and leftover foods
  • Complete daily and scheduled cleaning duties
  • Perform all daily tasks in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Ensure that the department and all food storage and work areas are maintained in a clean and safe manner 
  • Maintain habits of good personal hygiene
  • Other duties as assigned

Server Job Requirements

  • At least 1 year of restaurant dining room experience preferred
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, staff, and vendors
