Head of DevOps Services

ClearDATA is seeking a Head of DevOps Service that wants to use their technical and industry expertise to truly make a difference in Healthcare! If you are passionate and are able to advise and influence decision makers by leading technical and subject matter engagements to transform healthcare, come join our team.  We are looking for someone with enterprise-level experience planning and deploying IT transformations leveraging DevOps technologies and disciplines.  Our new leader will be technically deep in implementing DevOps, ideally through the full CI/CD pipeline.  This role will be responsible for planning and leading transformational projects for our customers and for defining standards leveraged across ClearDATA.

The right candidate will be part of the fabric of the sales process and play a key role in winning new customers and expanding our footprint in the current customer base. The DevOps Practice Lead will help drive thought leadership by shaping the service offerings ClearDATA brings to market to enable healthcare customers to significantly increase agility, innovation, and operational excellence through DevOps principles (technology, processes, tools, culture) while maintaining world class security and compliance in the public cloud.

ClearDATA is exclusively focused on Healthcare compliance and security in the public cloud. In addition to our innovative technology and managed services, we are growing our services team to help our customers accelerate their cloud journey.

What You’ll Do:

  • Take the DevOps practice to the next level in terms of thought leadership, repeatable offerings, scalable delivery models, and successful customer outcomes.
  • Represent ClearDATA as a DevOps subject matter expert in HealthCare and cloud technology (AWS/Azure/GCP), supporting in-depth discussions with decision makers
  • Design, sell, and deliver service engagements that meet customers’ needs and help them achieve desired benefits in the public cloud
  • Collaborate with customers on the best product and/or service that best fulfills their needs
  • Support marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies; and pursuing self-paced learning
  • Collaborate and participate in organizational meetings and workshops with prospects/customers, sales, services, product, operations, finance, marketing, company executives, and others as required
  • Travel (roughly 35%)

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field
  • Deep technical understanding of two or more of the following (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Subject matter expertise in DevOps, including understanding of CI/CD, agile methodology, infrastructure as code, automation, and other DevOps-related concepts and approaches
  • Experience working within the Healthcare industry
  • Experience working in a bonus or commission-based role
  • Strong peer relationship management
  • Disaster recovery, high availability and resilience strategies based on customers’ needs


Must have experience in the following areas:

  • DevOps, CI/CD and infrastructure as code (IaC)
  • Security, Healthcare Compliance, and Privacy expertise
  • AWS, Azure and GCP
  • HealthCare or similarly regulated industry
  • Coordinate multiple engagements simultaneously
  • Practical experience in design, operations, implementation and/or migration of workloads to the public cloud
  • Professional services sales and engagement delivery
  • Experience leading and growing a team
  • Strategic, analytical experience, possessing 10 or more years of relevant experience

  • Engagement with decision makers and influencers
