Sr. Accounting Manager

What you’ll Do:

  • Ensure financial statements are prepared in accordance with GAAP
  • Coordination of financial audits
  • Facilitate the month end financial close process
  • Collaborate with department leaders in accounting and finance matters
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Oversee and manage general accounting functions, including A/P, A/R, general ledger, taxes, and fixed assets
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts
  • Manage treasury and banking functions
  • Lead staff in setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships
  • Coordinate special projects, analyses and duties as needed

 Required Experience and Attributes:

 

  • 6 + years of recent relevant financial experience
  • BS. in Accounting or equivalent, CPA preferred
  • Experience with SaaS (Software as a Service), subscription-based, or recurring-revenue companies
  • NetSuite experience
  • Experience managing direct reports and the desire to lead, train and support the work of others
  • Experience with State Sales Tax reporting
  • Ability to successfully prioritize/organize
  • Flexible, adaptable, ability to be hands-on, and a strong work ethic
  • High degree of interpersonal skills to facilitate teamwork
  • Strong attention to detail & robust quantitative skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
