CLEAR’s Strategic Operations team, a part of the overall Member Experience organization, leverages technical and analytical expertise to measure performance and drive business results to optimize our CLEAR Plus lane experience. Strategic Operations partners with Aviation Operations, Finance, Business Development, and Product to create a frictionless and efficient Member experience. CLEAR seeks a Strategic Operations intern who will utilize an analytical and operational efficiency mindset to improve our in-lane Member experience. The ideal candidate combines expertise in data, consumer insights, and operational process improvement techniques with a strong passion for service excellence.
You are currently enrolled full-time as a student pursuing a bachelor's or master’s degree and graduating anytime between Spring 2025 and Spring 2026.
What You Will Do:
- Assist with capacity planning and operational improvements by conducting time studies and observations.
- Develop standard processes to create improvement recommendations based on Member feedback.
- Use data analytics to identify and reduce Member friction points across the network.
- Present recommendations and findings to leadership across the organization while ensuring effective communication of analytical information to non-technical audiences.
- Build relationships across cross-functional teams in Airport Operations, Product, Technology, Finance, Member Insights, Member Care, and Marketing.
Who You Are:
- Prior work or academic experience in an analytical problem-solving or process improvement role
- Indefatigability with a continuous improvement mindset and proven ability and willingness to learn new applications, tools, and techniques
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with statistics and analytics tools (i.e., Excel, Google Sheets)
- Experience and/or interest in capacity analysis, conducting time studies, and data collection

The base salary range for this role is $25 per hour, depending on skills and experience levels.
