The Senior Manager, Business Development will play a foundational role in expanding the adoption of CLEAR’s Digital Identity solutions across a network of digital partners. This individual will need to build external relationships & drive cross-functional internal teams, and put structure to complex, cutting edge problems. We’re looking for a customer-centric, metrics driven self-starter obsessed with the art of the possible and relentless execution to join us in driving the impact of our platform.

What You Will Do:

  • Identify & build proactive pipeline of net new partnership opportunities for CLEAR that will be transformative for CLEAR’s growth trajectory & unlock revolutionary experiences for consumers
  • Deeply understand nuances of CLEAR’s product as well as potential partners’ challenges & needs, framing CLEAR’s value proposition in the most impactful ways for key partner stakeholders across business, product, and other functions
  • Manage relationships at the most senior levels of partner companies & lead complex deal negotiations aimed at establishing the foundation for a strong working relationship with our partners, including sustainable economics for both parties
  • Support the broader team with marquee partnership deals & new vertical strategy (including market fit analysis, industry research, collateral management, and more)
  • Work with Product, Program and Engineering to appropriately manage execution timelines & resourcing to ensure successful partnership implementation, including informing our product roadmap in a way that drives continuous topline growth & deeper engagement and utilization

Who You Are:

  • 5-7+ years professional experience including business development, sales and/or strategic partnerships, ideally with prior experience at a market-leading organization with a focus on innovation & growth 
  • Dexterity interfacing with a complex array of stakeholders at partner companies across functions including c-suite, product, technology, privacy, security, marketing and finance 
  • A self-starter with a strong sense of urgency who’s excited to experience a start-up in hyper-growth
  • Sense of humility and a desire to roll up your sleeves
  • Mission-centric, fast learner who can quickly get up to speed on identity-related products and problems, as well as technical concepts like SDK & API integrations
  • Experience project managing and being the point of contact to business
  • Prior experience (2-3 years) in banking and/or consulting a plus
  • B.S. or B.A. or equivalent experience
