Classy is looking for web development interns for Summer 2018 from to join our creative team and support brand and marketing initiatives. Please note this is a full-time (40 hours/week) internship located in our San Diego, CA office.

The Job

  • Projects will vary from researching and implementing improvements page load time to creating micro-sites designed by our world class brand designers.
  • You will be working as a developer, partnering with designers and marketing to bring major improvements to our marketing properties come to life
  • Our frontend is mostly Angular, our backend is mostly Node. We use Sass. The most important thing will be a proficiency in "normal" HTML and CSS. Any javascript experience is a plus

  • Strong Communicator. You will be interfacing directly with marketing, sales, design, product, and customer support, and will have the chance to present to the engineering team during company demo days. 

Your Experience:

  • You have built a website that you can call your own and are comfortable working with html, css and javascript. Backend or devops experience is a major plus.
  • You are not scared of the command line
  • Know how to work directly with designers and can communicate what assets and information you need to make their static pixel dreams a responsive web reality
  • Self-motivated independence and a drive for quality, consistency, and development excellence
  • A willingness to experiment with new technology, explore and suggest process improvement
