Key Responsibilities

  • Be a part of the engineering leadership team, and help define the technical strategy for your team that is aligned with the broader strategy at ClassPass

  • Collaborate closely with members of the engineering team to iterate on the design, implementation and deployment of our cloud based DevOps systems.

  • Guide our longer-term technical vision to help us build a scalable and maintainable platform

  • Grow and manage the performance of the people on your team by providing them with thoughtful feedback and technical mentorship

  • Seek different perspectives, and solicit honest feedback

  • Take delight in delighting our users

 

Skills & Experience

  • Infrastructure as code, such as Terraform or CodeFormation

  • Cloud Computing management, preferably AWS

  • Build Pipeline Management, Jenkins a plus

 

Nice to Have

  • ETL Experience, Airflow a plus

  • Experience with Kotlin or Java

  • Working knowledge of JVM web frameworks such as Dropwizard

  • Understand reliability and microservice monitoring best practices

  • Love fitness!
