We are seeking an enthusiastic Junior Communication Designer (m/f/d) to join our dynamic Marketing Design team. In this entry-level position, you will support the creation of visually appealing and on-brand marketing materials, contributing to various aspects of our design process. This role is ideal for those who have had initial design experiences and possess a keen eye for aesthetics and a passion for design.

Your main tasks will include:

• Design visually appealing ads for various marketing channels, including print, digital, and social media, under the guidance of more experienced designers.
• Produce visually stunning brand photography, leveraging the power of Midjourney and our established process to blend AI with creative visual storytelling.
• Support production of visually stunning illustrations that align with the brand's messaging and values.
• Contribute to the planning of our social media posts, producing eye-catching visuals for Instagram, and bringing forward innovative ideas and trends for TikTok content.
• Collaborate closely with our marketing team, copywriters, and senior designers to understand end goals and strategize communication approaches.
• Learn and apply design best practices and fundamentals, refining creative concepts based on data, research, and insights.
• Become a valuable member of our design team, constantly pushing creative borders and exploring innovative concepts & solutions.

What we look for:

• Around 1 year of working experience in design, with a good eye for design principles.
• Solid knowledge of recognised design industry tools and platforms (e.g. Figma, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
• You have drawing skills and the ability to create illustrations that align with brand guidelines.
• Passionate about social media and content creation, with a keen ability to identify and leverage current trends to engage and grow our audience.
• Interest in using AI tools like Midjourney for creative design projects.
• Enthusiasm for design and a willingness to learn and grow within a team environment.
• You have strong communication skills with an ability to take constructive feedback.
• You are able to collaborate on projects in a team-oriented environment.
• A fluent English speaker. Intermediate level of German is a plus.
• Having a portfolio is a must for this position. Applications submitted without an attached portfolio will not be considered.
